Why Musoraie

The right fit for institutions that care for the art.

Musoraie is built for museums and galleries that need serious inventory control, clear custody, and a public face — without enterprise complexity or startup noise.

Problems we solve

What used to live in six places, lives here.

Scattered records

Spreadsheets, shared drives, and email threads become one organization-owned catalog of objects, locations, and history.

Unclear custody

Loans, consignments, and deposits carry parties, agreement dates, and expected returns so nothing is “somewhere on a shelf.”

Public vs internal blur

Draft until you are ready; go Live when you choose; mark only selected items Public; browse the public site by exhibition.

Care work that slips

Maintenance schedules and conservation jobs with alerts so follow-up is visible, not tribal knowledge.

Floor labels without a second system

Printable QR codes open the public object page when a visitor scans beside the work.

Access without chaos

Roles (Admin, Editor, Viewer), two-factor sign-in, audit history, and support cases when something needs the platform team.

Management of items

Done properly

Every object can carry the fields registrars and gallerists actually use: title, artist, year, asset tag, medium, condition, values, building and floor, custody type, linked party, return dates, description, photos, PDFs, and recordings. Categories are optional and owned by your organization. Bulk CSV upload helps when you are migrating. Search and grids keep daily work fast; Help on every screen explains the page you are on.

Exhibits

Group works for a show; publish selected exhibitions to the public catalog.

Shipments

Track moves for loans and off-site conservation with carrier and packing notes.

Reporting

PDF and CSV exports for inventory, custody, alerts, and activity.

Ease of use

Familiar structure. Phone and desktop.

Left menu by work area

Administrative, Settings, Utilities — one primary task per page.

Phone and desktop

Single-column forms for add/edit; camera and recorder stay closed until you need them.

Guided security

Email + password, then a one-time code; password reset without calling support for every lockout.

On-screen Help

Short how-to text on each page, plus a downloadable User Guide for admins.

Live when you say so

Build privately; visitors see nothing until public catalog is Live and items/exhibitions are marked to show.

Scale

Scalability that matches your size

Musoraie is multi-tenant: each museum or gallery is its own boundary. Start small and grow seats, collection size, and storage as the institution grows — without re-platforming. Platform operations (approvals, support, plan flags) stay with Musoraie so you focus on the collection.

From first catalog to larger holdings

Plans scale from thousands of items to unlimited collection size on Plus.

Team growth

Add seats when staff join; deactivate accounts when people leave.

Public presence

Optional Live catalog and exhibition browsing when you are ready to be seen.

Clear pricing

Annual, one museum at a time

Annual pricing is primary — predictable for institutional budgets. Amounts below are list pricing in USD; complementary access (free forever / free one year) may apply when set by Musoraie. Card billing renews automatically after you choose a plan in the app.

Starter

$290 / year

3 seats · 10,000 items · 50 GB

Starter Plus

$390 / year

5 seats · 25,000 items · 100 GB

Standard

$490 / year

10 seats · 50,000 items · 100 GB

Plus

$990 / year

20 seats · Unlimited items · 500 GB

  • Add-ons — Extra seat $40 / year · extra storage $90 per 100 GB / year. Public catalog is included while it is Live. Trading is not in this release.
  • Upgrades — Mid-cycle upgrades keep your renewal date; you pay a prorated difference when billing is active.
  • No surprise “per object” fees — Caps are plan-based so growth is visible before you hit a limit (alerts warn as you near them).

Who it is for

Museums, galleries, and teams that outgrew spreadsheets.

Museums

Registrars, curators, and directors who need custody, care, exhibits, and a trustworthy public story.

Art galleries

Teams managing owned and consigned work, locations, and a selective public view of what is on offer or on view.

Institutions that outgrew spreadsheets

But do not need a decade-long enterprise implementation to get orderly records.

Accountability

Built with accountability in mind

Musoraie is wholly owned by Southern Hills LLC. Organization signup requires acceptance of the Terms of Service. Planned weekly maintenance is Sundays 6:00–8:00 AM Central Time. Service interruptions are addressed with renewal time credit — not partial refunds — as stated in the Terms.
